Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper Overview We are actively seeking a meticulous and committed Part-Time Bookkeeper to become a vital member of our dynamic small business team. This role offers a flexible work schedule, requiring between 4 to 12 hours monthly, with hours adjusting throughout the year to suit our operational needs. Key Responsibilities  Maintain a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).  Oversee the upkeep of the general ledger and generate customized reports as necessary.  Exhibit exceptional time management skills and responsiveness to ensure timely financial operations. Required Skills  Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential; certification is advantageous but not mandatory.  Demonstrated experience with long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes or assisted living environments, will be beneficial, particularly those with a focus on government grants and funding. Qualifications  Relevant educational background in accounting or finance is preferred.  Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, especially within a small business setting or healthcare context.
