Job Overview We are seeking a diligent and experienced Bookkeeper to join our esteemed team, offering a commitment of at least 30 hours per week. Key Responsibilities • Engage proactively with clients to update and categorize their bank transactions while preparing and analyzing crucial financial statements for their businesses. • Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, ensuring precision in monthly records. • Leverage strong analytical capabilities to review and interpret financial reports, maintaining exceptional attention to detail. • Collaborate with the team to produce tax-ready financial statements at year-end. • Attend weekly remote team meetings to foster connection and alignment with team objectives. Required Skills • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential. • Exceptional organizational skills coupled with a meticulous eye for detail. • Capability to manage bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients concurrently while adhering to deadlines. • Strong communication skills for effective client interactions. Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree and/or 4-5 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience is preferred. • A quiet workspace is necessary for client conversations and remote meetings during standard business hours; otherwise, you can work at your discretion. • Permanent residency or a valid work visa is required.
