This position offers a remote work opportunity following on-site training at the TeamHealth Alcoa, TN Billing Center (3231 North Star Circle, Louisville, TN). This position also offers a flexible schedule after the 90 day training period. The flex schedule can consist of working four, 10 hour days. This is a great role for the chosen candidate to get their foot in the door with an award-winning, physician practice in the U.S. and will teach you healthcare operation activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collection of all lockbox and EFT batches once posted on the GE/IDX system • Reconciliation of all payments posted in the GE/IDX system by all Patient Accounts Payment Posting Representatives to the individual deposits in the Cash Clearing System • Dispersing of payment batches appropriately once reconciled in Cash Clearing System • Responsible for maintaining all policy and procedures and participating in unit progress meetings • Reports errors or problems that affect the ability to reconcile in the Cash Clearing System • Seeks guidance from Supervisor for unusual circumstances • Performs additional clerical duties and assignments as requested QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Demonstrated knowledge of physician billing preferred • Excellent oral and written communication • Computer proficiency in MS Excel and other commercial software • Excellent follow-up, organizational and attention-to-detail skills [Link available when viewing the job] Apply Job!
