Job Title: Loan Originator - Remote (WFH) We are inviting dynamic and results-driven professionals to join our esteemed team as Loan Originators. As a fast-evolving FinTech commercial lender, we specialize in providing senior debt financing solutions, including bridge loans, value-add loans, new construction loans, and permanent portfolio loans tailored for residential and multifamily real estate investors across the nation. Our innovative approach harnesses technology to optimize lending processes, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and internal stakeholders. Job Overview In the capacity of Loan Originator, you will be instrumental in advancing our business by identifying and leveraging new lending opportunities within the investor residential real estate domain. Key Responsibilities • Cultivate sales by forging and nurturing relationships with property investors, brokers, and real estate agents through diverse channels such as company leads, referrals, and industry gatherings. • Pre-qualify loan requests, ascertain appropriate loan structures, and generate quotes and term sheets for prospective clients. • Streamline the borrower approval process by gathering and submitting essential information to the loan processing team. • Strategically manage and prioritize a fluctuating pipeline of potential clients and loan applications to achieve set targets. • Establish and maintain a comprehensive client database within our CRM system, ensuring optimal use of contact management tools and customer relationship practices. • Collaborate closely with leaders in Processing, Underwriting, Valuations, and other departments to prioritize the loan pipeline and collaboratively resolve any interdepartmental challenges. • Participate in industry events and conferences; plan strategically, conduct onsite meetings, and engage in post-event outreach to convert leads. Required Skills • Demonstrated success in achieving monthly origination volumes of $3 million or more in fix/flip, ground-up construction, single-family rental, and/or short-term bridge financing. • Superior interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities. • Strong analytical skills to assess and organize financial information and perform financial calculations. • Expertise in structuring loans in alignment with customer needs and underwriting standards. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Previous experience with direct competitors in the industry is advantageous. Qualifications • A proven track record in loan origination and financing solutions specifically within the residential real estate arena is essential.
