Job title: CCLC Classified Instructor/Tutor Company: Sunnyside Unified School District Job description : Description: The instructor is a master teacher who provides academic or enrichment instruction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. This list of tasks is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY, and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class). TASKS: Facilitate tech-assisted intervention programs. Analyze student data to inform targeted 1:1 or smaller group interventions. Attend regular professional development and/or collaboration as needed for position. Bi-weekly communication with core instruction teachers and building administration via email regarding student progress. Bi-weekly written or verbal communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and attendance. Create and implement highly engaging and AZ CCRS based curriculum Maintain daily attendance records. Knowledge, Skills and other characteristics: Knowledge of District policies and procedures Skill in following oral and written instructions Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships Physical Requirements: Work is preformed in indoor and outdoor environments. Work requires frequent sitting, walking and standing. Work may involve lifting and carrying objects weighing as much as 50 pounds. May be exposed to extreme weather conditions and infectious diseases. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, and college student in good standing or college graduate. Fingerprint clearance is required Additional certifications may also be required as specified by the District.
