THE ROLE Insomniac Events is looking for a Social Media TikTok Coordinator who can assist with crafting and organizing social content for each of our unique brands, one amazing post at a time. You are a skilled creative writer who understands the importance of collaboration, and you thrive in high-energy situations. This position reports to the TikTok Specialist & Senior Manager, Social Media. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate with social media and marketing leads to create and organize compelling social content across multiple TikTok brands simultaneously Create daily TikTok content that speaks to our Insomniac audience using the Adobe Suite and content creation apps Stay on top of TikTok trends, acting as the one of the marketing team’s TikTok experts Pitch and organize TikTok shoots for our various brands Collaborate with the Records & Media departments to create our own trending sounds Create Reels & YouTube Shorts strategies to cross post TikTok content. Write creatively yet collaboratively within the sphere of each brand, with an emphasis on captions, text on screen, content creation, & selection Create detailed spreadsheets and proposals for TikTok social calendars across concerts, branded shows, and festivals Film and edit TikToks on-site at events as well as occasional shoots in the office. Partner with Insomniac Headliner Experience team to monitor and address customer service inquiries and deliver social feedback Create social reports and summaries recapping on-sales, events, and major announcements Support social and marketing teams with on-site duties at events and festivals All other tasks as assigned by the social team QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field/experience 2+ years’ experience with social media marketing In-depth knowledge of the TikTok space Understanding of electronic music, festival culture, and the live music space In-tune with local music scene, venues, and nightclubs Ability to film quality iPhone content + edit iPhone videos into engaging pieces. Organized self-starter with meticulous attention to detail Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Instagram Stories, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, and other live streaming apps and social media platforms Experience in social media management/monitoring tools such as: HootSuite, TweetDeck and Sprinklr Proficient in grammar, copywriting and asset selection Must have basic knowledge of Capcut, Adobe products, GIF creation, and other content creation apps. Experience working on-site at concerts, music festivals, or other large-scale events WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments Must be willing to travel to travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.
