- Develop engaging lessons for students with diverse English proficiency levels.
- Incorporate proven methods to teach core language skillslistening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Collaborate with other educators to align language learning with subject-specific goals.
- Use data to monitor student performance and tailor instruction to meet evolving needs.
- Foster an inclusive environment that values multilingualism and partners with families to support learning outside the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Bachelors degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field
- Valid New... Hampshireteaching license with an endorsement in ESL/ELL (or equivalent)
- Experience working with multilingual learners or culturally diverse populations
- Preferred:
- Masters degree in TESOL, Education, or a related area
- Proficiency in a second language
- Familiarity with WIDA standards and assessments
- Experience with differentiated instruction and culturally responsive teaching practices
