The Community You Will Join Users & Quality Client Engineering The Users & Quality Client team is currently hiring an iOS Engineer! We are responsible for building and maintaining all Users-related flows on the Airbnb platform, from critical capabilities such as authentication to product flows such as user profile, information, and settings across the app. We also build tools and components for improving the quality and standards of listings and stays at Airbnb: creating review flows and standards flow with a mission of encouraging better experiences for both guests and hosts. The team is highly collaborative with its partners in design, product, data science, legal, and marketing to deliver features and experiences used by millions of people. We work closely with other engineering teams to ensure we build systems that are performant and configurable with architecture that's scalable and robust. The Difference You Will Make • Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Product Managers, Experience Designers, Data Science, Marketing, and other Engineers to design and deliver high-quality products on iOS • Build efficient and reusable mobile components and architect reliable, performant, and scalable mobile solutions • Mentor, guide, advocate and support the career growth of individual contributors • Identify areas of improvement and drive mobile best practices Your Expertise • 2+ years’ experience developing iOS applications at scale with a high volume of users, preferably in Swift and SwiftUI • You possess strong product sense and a passion for iOS UI and UX product development • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Product Management, Design, and other iOS, Android, and Web Engineers • You’re passionate about continuous learning and innovation in the mobile industry • Sound engineering and coding skills. Understanding of basic data structures and asynchronous programming • You possess a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent professional experience Your Expertise • 2+ years’ experience developing iOS applications at scale with a high volume of users, preferably in Swift and SwiftUI • You possess strong product sense and a passion for iOS UI and UX product development • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Product Management, Design, and other iOS, Android, and Web Engineers • You’re passionate about continuous learning and innovation in the mobile industry • Sound engineering and coding skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
