We are seeking an AI/ML Technologies Evangelist for the Worldwide Developer Relations team. As a Technology Evangelist you’ll help 3rd-party developers learn the best approach for creating groundbreaking AI/ML-driven apps on Apple platforms and adopt tools and frameworks including Core ML, Create ML, Vision and VisionKit, Speech, Natural Language, and more. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the architecture and quality of intelligent apps enjoyed by millions of people every day. You possess a passion for AI and Machine Learning technologies, have a solid understanding of ML workflows and deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch and Tensorflow, have expertise in Swift and/or Objective-C, and show proficiency with iOS and macOS development. You have strong communication and people skills since you'll be presenting online and in public, collaborating cross-functionally within Apple, and working with developers every day. Key Qualifications • 5+ years applied experience in iOS and macOS development with Xcode and Swift and/or Objective-C. • Demonstrated expertise with AIML technologies, performance-tuning, and optimization. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. • Proven public speaking and presentation skills. • Dedicated individual who understands Apple's high standards. • Highly professional, with the ability to deliver quality work on tight schedules. • Self-starter who is motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a loosely structured organization. Description - Consult with leading 3rd-party developers to build modern AI/ML-driven apps, and adopt key Apple technologies and frameworks such as Core ML, Create ML, Vision, Speech, and Natural Language, and more. - Lead hands-on programming workshops and labs to assist developers with how to build, train, and deploy machine learning models into apps across Apple platforms. - Work with Apple engineering teams to advocate for the requirements of 3rd-party developers. - Plan and oversee technical sessions for Apple's annual Worldwide Developer Conference and other developer activities year-round. Education & Experience B.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, or Software Design Engineering. Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
