Job Description and Duties Under general direction of the Chief of the Accounting Services Branch (ASB) (an Accounting Administrator III), the incumbent will plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the fiscal systems and accounting activities for the Wildlife Conservation Board (WCB). Department of Fish and Wildlife (DFW), Accounts Payable (AP) - Rents & Leases Unit and Front Desk Operations... supervise and train accounting staff in their respective duties; and provide accounting/fiscal data necessary for Departmental and Control Agency needs. The incumbent will directly supervise one (1) Office Technician and two (2) Accounting Administrator I supervisors responsible for the operations and accounting activities of their respective teams. In order to be eligible for this position, you must either be transfer eligible or take and pass the following exam: Accounting Administrator II: Exam Link You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement. Working Conditions Ability to use a computer keyboard several hours a day. Involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods. Attend meetings and hearings; work with staff statewide to complete work assignments. Occasional travel may be required. Work in a fast-paced office environment under time critical deadlines. Position is located in a high-rise building. Requires being in a stationary position, consistent with office work, for extended periods. Daily use of a personal computer, office equipment, and/or telephone. Standard office environment. Time off may not be granted during the year-end Financial Statement period. Hybrid telework option.
