Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal and external staffing needs.
- Assign clients to the appropriate clinicians.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of on-call and backup staff and use to secure last-minute coverage.
- Communicate with caregivers regarding any updates or changes to their schedule.
- Communicate with managers and clients to inform them of any schedule or staffing changes.
- Assist in the hiring, training, and management of new staff.
- Communicate with patients to understand their healthcare concerns.
- Provide health care and nutritional advice when appropriate.
- Monitor patient recovery.
- Write reports and provide them to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain equipment and medical supplies in a well-organized and sterile fashion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Previous experience as a LVN or MA in a similar position is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Compassionate and empathetic.
