Primary Skills: Java-Expert, Kotlin-Expert, Android Studio-Expert, Gradle-Expert, Git-Expert Contract Type: W2 Job Title: Sr Android Engineer Location: Remote Contract Duration : 6 months Pay Range: $75.95 - $84.09 per hourJob Summary: This position entails joining the Android team to help design, develop, and maintain high-quality features aligned with organizational business objectives. The candidate will collaborate with other developers and designers, contribute to technical design and development, and own significant aspects of the project lifecycle. The role focuses on building and refining Sports features for Android platforms, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers and designers to define and deliver new features for Sports mobile apps.
• Code in Java/Kotlin, including new feature development, architecture, writing unit tests, refactoring, and fixing bugs.
• Share responsibilities in app architecture/design reviews, code reviews, performance tuning, and build pipeline management.
• Own and deliver complex projects with many moving parts.
• Focus on Sports feature development for Android.

Must-Have Skills:

• Expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Android development tools (Android Studio, Gradle, Git).
• Knowledge of Android best practices (LiveData, Jet Pack Compose, Coroutines, Flows).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Domain or Industry Experience Required:

• Strong experience in shipping high-quality Android applications, particularly in sports or related fields.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5-10 years experience in Android app development.
• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate within a team to meet project goals.
• A disciplined approach to adherence with established best practices, committed and hardworking attitude
