This position is an HR Assistant position with a focus on administrative duties for the internship program.We provide real-world work experience to college students of all majors. The goal of the internship program is to serve as a bridge between the IT field and college students, while providing them opportunities to grow their skillset and receive mentoring guidance from the team.As a part-time employee, we offer great perks, such as flexible hours between Monday-Friday, and company-sponsored events.If you are looking for a great team to work with, and a place where you can utilize your skills and expand your skillset, QTG is the place for you!Review the description below, and if this sounds like you, let us know!Responsibilities:The Internship Program Administrative Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the Operations Coordinator for the Internship Program and providing day-to-day support for the internship. Duties include but are not limited to:Serving as an additional point of contact for internsDay-to-day management of intern activities, assigned tasks, and projectsManaging individually assigned tasks on Intern Microsoft Teams group and ensuring all tasks are being assigned to the interns during the weekGenerating weekly tasks draft emails for interns to fulfill their 15 hours each weekSpearheading the growth of our Intern-Alumni programCollaborating with the Internship Program Operations Coordinator and Human Resources Department to brainstorm new internship initiatives, and to provide ongoing support to current initiatives by participating in weekly meetingsProviding fresh insight to the team on potential internship initiatives or on updating current initiativesAssisting with sourcing and recruitment of interns as neededAssisting with creating Standard Operating Procedures for internship programSupporting production of Company Quarterly NewsletterSupporting the Internship Program Operations Coordinator with various tasks as neededSupporting Human Resources department as neededSkills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a team settingExperience in working with college students and alumni is a plusExceptional time management and organization skillsExceptional attention to detailTakes initiative in all situations, both in working independently and in a team settingFast learner who can easily adapt to new situations and learn new skillsOpen minded and creative thinker who will contribute new ideas to continue to grow internship programFamiliarity with Microsoft Office365 (Excel Online, Word Online, Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, etc.)Position Information:$15.00/hour15 hours per weekFlexible hours Mon-FriLocation: Remote work - Must have a permanent home address in the states of MD or GACandidates must meet the following requirements:Must have a permanent address in a HubZone area and must provide address verification documentsMeet 15-hour per week commitment60 hours per month requirementMeet weekly report deadlines by 5pm each FridaySubmit timesheets by due date on a bi-weekly basisWe would love to have you join our family!
