Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Content Moderation Associate (East Coast Applicants). As a Content Moderation Associate, your day-to-day tasks will include analyzing and reviewing user-generated content, enforcing platform policies and guidelines, responding to user inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content quality and assist with training programs.

  • Responsibilities Collaborate with Al development teams to understand project requirements and contribute insights from an editorial perspective, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Review content against the client organization's community standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data labeling processes, providing feedback and suggestions for optimization.
  • Stay attuned to the news cycle throughout the day. making decisions on sending out notifications and breaking news alerts.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and evaluate user-generated content
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer Service: Experience in providing excellent customer service
  • Technical Support: Knowledge of technical support principles and tools
  • Training: Experience in conducting training programs
  • Attention to detail: Ability to identify and address content violations
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • Experience in content moderation is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. Library and Information Science, Communications.
  • English, or a closely related field.
  • Proficient understanding of the US news cycle and media landscape.
  • Availability to work at least one weekend day each week.
  • Proven experience in managing high-volume content workflows. Maintain the flexibility to adapt to a fast paced work environment and efficiently master
  • Must be based in the US. with a preference for candidates on the West Coast
