Lead Datadog Developer-Remote

Position: Lead Automation Developer/ Lead Datadog Developer Location: Chicago, IL or Remote Duration: 12 Months Rate: DOE US Citizens and Green cards are Preferred. As a Lead Automation Developer, you will be required to provide and own technical oversight for all APM specific automations required for applications monitoring setup within the group. You will be involved in designing and enhancing solutions, analysing deployment requirements, working with the team to implement and deploy solutions and platforms. Must be hands on with configurations. In-depth knowledge and experience working with datacentre, cloud and hybrid infrastructure is required. Must be familiar with Agile and Waterfall model • Hands-on experience with Automation using BigFix, Terraform, Python • Good understanding of the monitoring tool Datadog • Ability to assess and propose Automation solutions for monitoring implementation • Exposure to both large and small deployments • Exposure to newer trends with AI and Automated monitoring • Working knowledge on dev ops, continuous deployment and monitoring • Integrated Service Environment including on premise, cloud and hybrid services. • Exposure to databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL) • Working knowledge of and exposure to Open Source tools and best practices • Familiarity with software architecture and design ( front-end, middleware, backend, microservices etc., ) • Enterprise architecture experience would be an added advantage 1. Primary skills : Application performance monitoring with Datadog, BigFix, Terraform 2. Secondary skills / Added advantage : Python Remote
