- Accepting applications
- Responsible for the management and administration of the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) program.
- Responsible for the management and administration of the physical access control systems (i.e. Defense Biometrics Identification System - DBIDS).
- Performs administrative office support functions and develops, coordinates, and publishes all SF installation level publications to include the Installation Security Plan, the Installation Security Instruction, and SF annexes.
- Performs installation security duties. Leads and manages SF programs designed to provide a secure mission environment. Establishes requirements for police services, physical security, and Anti-Terrorism programs.
- Manages police services. Develops and writes localized SF policies and procedures. Manages installation entry control, visitor center operations, and special functions/events.
- Manages Security Forces Management Information System (SFMIS).
- Performs and enforces the full range of SF duties within the military installation. Apprehend and detain violators of laws, rules, and regulations and turn them over to the Federal or civil police or other law enforcement officers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
