Job title: Systems Administrator in Andrews, SC at Six Axis, LLC Company: Six Axis, LLC Job description: Summary: The System Administrators role is to configure, maintain, and monitor applications and systems to ensure a high level of availability of the supported network environment. This position is critical to ensuring systems are running to keep our manufacturing and support team members productive. Reports to: Infrastructure Manager Location: Andrews, SC Responsibilities include: Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and networks by following best practices IT planning, development, implementation, and maintenance processes Manage all aspects of the infrastructure: servers, networking, PCs, telecom services and cell services to ensure uptime during operating hoursAdminister disaster recovery procedures and backup jobs, including periodic testing to validate backups experience with Datto is a plusManage Hyper-V and Nutanix virtual servers and storage technologies - experience with Storage Spaces Direct is a plusKeep servers updated with current firmware and patchesInstall, configure, upgrade, and support Windows, Mac OSX, Office365, Meraki, AWS Cisco, and Linux hardware Provide level 2 end-user computer hardware and software support to local and remote users provide backup level 1 support as volume and schedules requireAssist in the implementation of new technologies in assigned projects Keep systems, backup and restore procedure documentation current Required Experience: Experience working as a Systems Administrator at a mid-sized companyWindows Systems experience using server monitoring and reporting tools such as Cisco switches, routers, Meraki firewalls, spam filters, VLANs, Windows Server 2022 or later, Hyper-V, backup/ system recovery, Active Directory, Nutanix, and Cisco OS. Amazon Web Services experience using EC2, RDS databases and microservicesBachelors degree in computer science, Management information Systems, or related degree is preferred.MCSE, Net +, Sec+, CCNA Preferred Expected salary: Location: Andrews, SC Apply for the job now!
