Job title: Senior Project Manager - Federal Renos - Arlington/Leesburg, VA in USA at Michael Page Company: Michael Page Job description: We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex commercial and institutional construction projects, typically valued between $7M and $10M. This role will report directly to the VP and will be based in either the Leesburg office or at the Pentagon, depending on the candidate's commuting location. The SPM will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and schedule.Manage all phases of construction, including planning, execution, and closeout.Oversee project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety regulations, and quality standards.Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.Lead subcontractor negotiations, bid processes, and contract execution.Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with goals and expectations.Utilize industry-standard software such as PROCORE and PROJNET for project tracking and management.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.Lead high-profile government and institutional construction projects Generous salary, annual bonus, gas card, and robust benefitsB.S. degree in engineering or construction management with 10-15 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial general contracting, or 20+ years of directly related experience without a degree.Proven experience managing government projects, including WHS or USACE projects valued at $5M or more.Expertise in various delivery methods, including IDIQ, Lump-Sum Contracting, Design/Build, and Fast Track contracts.Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and industry best practices.Proficiency in construction management software, including PROCORE and PROJNET.Holds current safety credentials, including OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications.USACE/NAVFAC CQC certification preferred.Professional credentials such as Associate Constructor (AC), Certified Professional Constructor (CPC), or PE in good standing preferred.U.S. Citizenship required.Our client is a well-established construction firm with over 100 employees and a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects. Their strong reputation and long-term government contracts provide stability and career growth opportunities for team members.Competitive base salary (target range: $150K-$165K, max $175K).Monthly $600 vehicle allowance, gas card, EZ Pass, and paid parking.Annual bonus (10%-12%).401(k) match: 50% up to 6%, vested at 25% annually.PTO: Two weeks vacation, six sick days accrued annually.
