You'll also play a key role in our cultural shift to DevOps, while mentoring and developing the next generation of technical leaders.DescriptionThis role provides strategic technical leadership for our Offering organization, aligning engineering efforts with long-term business goals and customer needs. In collaboration with technical leaders across the engineering organization, it involves defining and promoting a clear technical vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader organizational initiatives. This leader represents our Offering team's requirements across cross-functional groups and champions quality, reliability, performance, and security in all solutions. Responsibilities include guiding architectural decisions, engaging in hands-on work on key projects, and fostering a practical, outcome-driven engineering approach. Additionally, the role supports a collaborative engineering culture across the organization and develops technical leadership through mentorship and coaching.Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, including 2+ years as a tech lead/architect
• Track record of leading large technical initiatives and driving change to align org

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience in one of our current product domains - Credit Card, Savings, Access, Transit
• Practical experience and proven results in implementing and evolving large scale distributed systems with integrations of heterogeneous partner systems
• Adept communicator with technical and non-technical audiences

Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
