As a Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with Project Managers to help plan, organize, and execute construction projects. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of fieldwork and office-based responsibilities, giving you a well-rounded experience and plenty of room to advance.Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety is always the top priority
- Interpret construction drawings and project documents
- Create field sketches and construction details
- Inspect job sites for quality and progress
- Provide technical support to field crews
- Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractors
- Track materials, report progress, and help manage project budgets
- Handle RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Attend project meetings and provide updates
- Perform quality control and assurance checks
- 3-5 years of construction or engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Tech-savvy, with Microsoft Office proficiency (bonus points for experience with VISTA, HeavyJob, BlueBeam, or AutoCAD)
- Willing to work in varying outdoor conditions, travel as needed, and be flexible with hours (nights/weekends/on-call)
