Texas Majority PAC is an organization dedicated to flipping Texas blue by building teams of staff and volunteers in Texas who work year-round to elect Democrats. We invest in volunteer voter engagement and turnout programs to bring statewide organizing work to the scale required to flip Texas Blue. Summary of Position: Texas Majority PAC is seeking field organizers to join our team. This role will be a key part of our organizing program, working to execute a successful volunteer voter contact and turnout program. The organizer will recruit and train volunteers to carry out voter contact and help our team reach enough voters to impact future elections. Although this role will initially be hybrid, working remotely and in-person with volunteers, it will eventually transition to a full-time field organizer position, so the majority of the work will be direct voter contact and working with volunteers. The day-to-day work in this role will include making phone calls to volunteers, leading voter contact training, and knocking on doors. The ideal candidate does not need to have any previous organizing experience but should have strong time management skills, an eagerness to learn, and a deep commitment to turning Texas Blue. Organizers will spend a lot of time talking to strangers and volunteers, some of whom will not be easy to work with.
