Title: Accounting Manager (USA ONLY / Remote) Reports to: Director of Finance Company: Trophy Point Investment Group Location: Remote (U.S.-based only) Employment Type: Full-Time Contractor Compensation: Competitive, based on experience Website: https://trophypointlending.com Position Overview: Trophy Point Investment Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead and oversee all accounting operations across multiple entities in the private real estate lending industry. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this fully remote role will manage the full-cycle accounting process, supervise junior accounting staff, and play a critical role in ensuring timely financial reporting and compliance. Real Estate or Private Lending industry experience is REQUIRED. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Operations & Financial Oversight

• Manage and review daily A/P and A/R transactions across multiple entities
• Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close procedures
• Review and finalize financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Coordinate with external CPAs on tax and audit matters

Process Management & Optimization

• Implement and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure accurate classification and reporting in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Oversee the preparation of cash flow forecasts and expense tracking
• Support treasury functions, including wire/ACH payments, banking relationships, and liquidity management

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor accounting specialists, bookkeepers, and project-based staff
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance to build scalable accounting processes
• Provide training and documentation to ensure team consistency and compliance

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE industry experience in Real Estate or Lending
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Strong experience managing multi-entity accounting structures
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
• Deep understanding of GAAP and private lending accounting best practices
• Proven track record of managing remote teams and delivering results in distributed work environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
