Job Summary Are you a seasoned machine learning expert looking to apply your skills in a high-impact, mission-driven industry? A top-tier healthtech company is seeking a Machine Learning Scientist to design and deploy cutting-edge ML systems that drive personalized medicine, clinical insights, and therapeutic decision-making at scale. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and scale robust ML systems that ingest, process, and analyze multimodal healthcare data — including clinical records, genomic sequences, and digital pathology.
  • Architect end-to-end pipelines for training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models in both real-time and batch environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists, engineers, clinicians, and product teams to translate complex healthcare problems into production-grade ML solutions.
  • Drive innovation through experimentation, benchmarking, and integration of state-of-the-art ML research.
  • Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the team’s technical strategy.

You Bring:

  • Ph.D. or M.S. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience building and deploying ML models in production environments, preferably involving real-world, messy datasets.
  • Strong software engineering skills; comfortable designing scalable systems with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with multimodal data integration (e.g., structured, text, imaging, genomic) is a strong plus.
  • Familiar with MLOps, model performance monitoring, and ML system reliability.
