- Verify patient information such as name, medical record number, visit number, admission, and discharge dates through proofreading and electronic spell checking.
- Identify and correct inconsistencies, discrepancies, and inaccuracies without altering the dictation's meaning or style, supporting the Medical Record department’s mission of quality documentation.Qualifications /
Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist preferred.
- At least one year of experience in an acute care setting across various specialties.
- Maintain an accuracy score of 98% or higher in transcription work.
- Proficient in word processing, gained through education or experience.Job Requirements:
