Team Lead - Technical Support

Duration & Type: 12 months Contract with a major pharmaceutical industry client Location: Summit, NJ (Remote) Description: This is a Technical Lead role to support the ‘Sales Order Inventory Allocation and Forecast Optimization’ system. The application/system is deployed in Azure with MS SQL Server as back end. It is integrated with SAP via Mulesoft API’s. The application uses Machine Learning algorithms, Python and Javascript. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for various system functions, including: Incident, change, system and project management.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting websites, applications, and user access issues.
  • Document incident items and escalates as necessary.
  • Responsible for facilitating new or enhanced change management requests and post-change validations, and schedule change controls.
  • Coordinate issue resolution and validation of services restored.
  • Perform application troubleshooting, and make recommendations for improvements and changes.
  • Work with vendors as needed to resolve issues.
  • Responsible for configuring installed software on all environments, perform fine tuning and application documentation.
  • Assist in troubleshooting servers, transmissions, and firewall access issues.
  • Assist with Disaster recovery testing.
  • Responsible for application and infrastructure monitoring, coordinating with enterprise management and business unit on assigning and updating alerts.
  • Coordinate report reprints and monitor job processing.
  • May perform project management functions as either a project manager or team member.
  • 24 X 7 on-Call responsibilities for various applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required:

  • Education: Bachelors degree or higher
  • The primary skill set of this candidate must include Python, PL/SQL, Machine Learning, MS SQL Server or Oracle and JavaScript.
  • Nice to have skills: Familiarity with Azure, Mulesoft, API Integration.
  • Desired domain experience: Forecast Optimization techniques, Data Science, Sales Order Management concepts, Supply Chain
