Guest Service Associate

Job Description: Demonstrates and delivers a distinct and pleasant customer experience. Processes transactions using assigned cash register, provides patrons with courteous, fair, amiable, and efficient cashier service. Roles and Duties: • Greet and aid customers and patients to facilitate interaction and guidance on product selections and services offered. Resolves customer issues promptly to guarantee a positive customer experience. • Demonstrates and promotes customer service excellence by sharing best practices with team members to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience, including interpersonal manners such as greetings, eye contact, politeness, and Walgreens service principles like proactively offering assistance, identifying needs, and ensuring satisfaction. • - Guarantees courteous, amiable, rapid, and proficient service for clients. • Assisting clients in selecting items for sale and proposing trade-in or companion merchandise. • Utilizes the specified cash register to record customer purchases, manages cash exchanges, and provides necessary change. Processes voided transactions, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges when required. • Maintains the cleanliness and appealing display of counters and shelves, manages inventory control, and updates records systematically. Receives and labels items per the instructions of the store manager or as communicated by the shift leader. • Deploys asset protection procedures to recognize and mitigate potential financial setbacks. • Ensures that all guidelines regarding controlled commodities such as alcohol and tobacco at the state and local levels are met. • Constructs and preserves displays, such as promotional, seasonal, super structures, and merchandise for sale. Executes resets and revisions according to provided guidance. • Assists in maintaining product quality by rotating stock using the first in, first out strategy and promptly restocking any depleted items. • Displays adeptness with store systems and equipment. • Helps customers with their photo requirements, which include digital passport picture services, poster printing utilizing a creative machine, and promoting special photo products. • Handles web-based pickup responsibilities, monitors orders processed in Picture Care Plus, fulfills orders by selecting items, and hands over orders to customers when they arrive at the store. • Assists in preserving the store's cleanliness and orderliness by helping with exterior and interior maintenance work. • Compliant with all corporate policies and procedures; upholds courteous relationships with coworkers. • Executes specialized assignments and any other tasks as necessary. Training: • Engages in training opportunities and finishes mandatory PPLs as required by the Manager or assigned by corporate guidelines. Qualifications: • Adequate skills in English reading, writing, and spoken language are expected • This role calls for a willingness to work outside regular hours, which may include evenings and weekends • Six months of experience in a retail setting is highly desired. • Applicants with a background in Walgreens employment are prioritized. • Strive to achieve fluency in English reading, writing, and speaking, apart from Puerto Rico • Applicants must be open to working flexible hours, which may include evenings and weekends. • Having a criminal record will not be a barrier to being considered for a position with our company.
