Waste Operations Manager

Our client, a leader in waste management services, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee collections across multiple lines of business. This role will manage commercial, residential, roll-off (industrial), container delivery/pickup, and portable toilet operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance while driving efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities: ? Lead daily operations, managing drivers and helpers across multiple service lines. ? Implement and enforce safety programs, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance. ? Collaborate with maintenance to keep fleet and equipment in top condition. ? Oversee route optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs. ? Resolve service issues, schedule changes, and customer concerns promptly. ? Monitor and improve missed pickup goals, ensuring service excellence. ? Develop and mentor employees, fostering career growth within the company. ? Ensure adherence to operational budgets, labor hours, and expense controls. ? Act as a key representative, driving customer satisfaction and company loyalty. Qualifications: ? 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience in operations, logistics, or waste management. ? Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. ? Ability to build and lead effective teams in a fast-paced environment. ?
