About the position TEKsystems is seeking a Jr. Business Analyst/Quality Assurance professional to join one of our leading clients in the Tallahassee, FL area. This position is ideal for individuals who have a strong foundation in both business analysis and quality assurance, particularly within the e-commerce sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and writing requirements, facilitating user stories, and conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions. Additionally, the role will involve some quality assurance tasks, where the candidate may need to teach basic QA principles. This position requires a candidate who is flexible and willing to travel occasionally as needed. Responsibilities ? Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders. , ? Facilitate user story creation and JAD sessions to ensure clear communication of project needs. , ? Perform quality assurance tasks, including testing and validation of requirements. , ? Utilize basic SQL for data analysis and reporting, focusing on select statements and joins. , ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success. Requirements ? 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Quality Assurance. , ? Strong skills in writing and gathering requirements, user stories, and conducting JAD sessions. , ? Basic SQL knowledge, including select statements and joins. , ? Experience with Waterfall methodology; Agile experience is a plus. Nice-to-haves ? E-commerce experience is preferred.
