About the position The Inflight Base Supervisor at Allegiant Travel Company serves as the primary contact and support for Flight Attendants, managing their day-to-day needs, performance, and safety in an airport environment. This role emphasizes adherence to the company's principles and values while ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. The supervisor is responsible for coaching, developing, and leading flight attendants to achieve operational goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Responsibilities ? Lead initiatives to achieve on-time performance goals set for your base/region. , ? Execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans and respond to irregular operations as needed. , ? Work flexible hours and be available during evenings, weekends, and holidays to handle irregular operations and flight interruptions. , ? Coach and develop flight attendants to reach and exceed expected performance levels. , ? Conduct fact-finding and investigation meetings and ensure timely and accurate grievance processes. , ? Hire and terminate Flight Attendants as necessary. , ? Promote safety and compliance with all regulatory and Company requirements. , ? Conduct delay investigations and perform line checks on-board revenue flights. , ? Maintain accurate employment files of Flight Attendants. , ? Ensure direct reports understand and apply customer service standards to their daily responsibilities. Requirements ? High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in a related field preferred. , ? Minimum one (1) year experience as a flight attendant. , ? Minimum two (2) years' experience managing people. , ? Minimum one (1) year experience managing in a union environment. , ? Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). , ? Proficient with Microsoft Office Products. , ? Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Nice-to-haves ? Ability to communicate effectively with a dispersed workforce. , ?
