About the position As a Senior Brand Manager at CDW, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of marketing strategies for our partners, leveraging investments and programs to enhance customer outcomes and increase market share. This position serves as the central liaison between our partners and various stakeholders within CDW, including Sales, Finance, and Marketing. You will be responsible for acting as the product expert and business manager, guiding partners in identifying opportunities and developing strategies to boost product sales. Your role will involve significant interaction with senior management, where you will independently drive strategy for program development and pricing, ensuring that revenue, profitability, and brand awareness are maximized for the respective manufacturers you represent. In this role, you will engage frequently with strategic partners to maintain open communication channels, ensuring alignment and collaboration across all stakeholders. You will be the subject matter expert in your partner's product line, managing associated programs such as Bid Desk programs, VIR, COOP, and Category Penetration. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you analyze complex industry information to identify opportunities and develop strategies that drive sales. You will also be responsible for developing competitive positioning and differentiation for brands, creating comprehensive marketing plans that outline target customer segments, products, promotions, pricing, and launch plans. Additionally, you will educate pre-sales and Product Specialists on new product introductions and competitive advantages, fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers within partner organizations. Your financial acumen will be essential as you manage overall profitability, forecast sales volumes in collaboration with CDW Procurement, and provide comprehensive reporting and analysis on brand performance and market trends. You will also lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess partner performance and discuss joint initiatives, ensuring that you obtain and facilitate necessary partner and industry certifications. Responsibilities • Engage frequently with strategic partners to maintain open communication across CDW and partner stakeholders. , • Be the subject matter expert in a partner's product line and associated programs such as Bid Desk programs, VIR, COOP, and Category Penetration. , • Analyze complex industry information to identify opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales. , • Develop and articulate competitive positioning and differentiation of brands. , • Create marketing plans for partners in conjunction with Partner Development and Product Managers, outlining target customer segments, products, promotions, pricing, and launch plans. , • Educate pre-sales and Product Specialists on new product introductions, transitions, competitive advantages, and sales opportunities. , • Understand and communicate partner organizational structure with key decision makers and foster strong executive relationships. , • Communicate partners' financial conditions and market new products related to the assigned partner. , • Manage and maximize overall profitability, developing strategies around re-investing funding. , • Engage with CDW Procurement to help forecast sales volumes. , • Represent and evangelize the assigned brand in meetings, discussing brand performance, category performance, and current initiatives. , • Lead Product specialists in the creation and review of content for respective manufacturer ads. , • Provide comprehensive reporting and analysis on brand performance, category performance, industry trends, and market share. , • Host Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to review partner performance and discuss joint initiatives. , • Obtain and facilitate necessary partner and industry certifications. Requirements • Bachelor's degree + 4 years sales/marketing experience, OR , • 8 years' experience in sales/marketing, OR , • 4 years CDW PPM experience + 4 years' experience in sales/marketing , • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders. , • Ability to effectively engage with executive leadership. , • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships. , • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. , • Strong financial and business acumen. , • Strong strategic agility and analytical skills. , • Strong presentation skills. , • Proven track record of driving results. Nice-to-haves • Previous Federal or State and Local experience in the technology industry. , • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Marketing. , • Prior experience in Supply Chain, Pricing, Merchandising or Program Management.
