About the position Smile Studio is actively seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Longview, TX. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to support our mission of providing excellent dental care in the community while creating smiles and memorable experiences for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate, playing an integral role in the patient care team. You will have the chance to give your patients the time and care they need, deserve, and desire. The position requires you to work on Mondays from 8 am to 5 pm and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Responsibilities • Provide outstanding patient care and support to the dental team. , • Conduct dental hygiene procedures and patient screenings. , • Document medical histories and dental patient information accurately. , • Educate patients on oral health and preventative care. , • Utilize dental hygiene tools and technology effectively. , • Participate in continuing education and training sessions. Requirements • Current dental hygienist license in Texas. , • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required). , • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures. , • CPR Certification. Nice-to-haves • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. , • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills.
