Position Summary Records carrier invoices and prepares and sends business partners invoices related to services used. Major Tasks and Responsibilities • Collects data and documents from carriers and operations to review shipments. • Audits invoices to find and resolve any discrepancies to correct incorrect charges. • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to validate carrier charges and correct loads to ensure proper workflow in systems. • Monitors accounting and operational boards in systems to ensure timely processed invoices. • Communicates with business partners to request proof of deliveries for billing. • Determines the financial impact of shipments that are delayed. • Investigates shipments that have been delivered but not billed. • Reviews contracts to determine the scheduled delivery date and resolves outstanding orders. Preferred Qualifications • Associate degree in business or a related field. • 2+ years of billing experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management applications. • Willingness to work flexible hours.
