Company OverviewFocus on WD is a global specialist recruiter for Workday professionals, placing them in contract and permanent roles with leading consultancies and end users. We're currently working with a Workday consultancy looking for an experienced Workday Grants Lead to join their team to support multiple projects on either a full time or part time basis. Job Details • Position: Workday Grants Management Lead • Rate: $120 p/h - $150 p/h • Duration: 6 months with potential extension • Location: Remote, US Role Responsibilities • Lead the configuration, deployment, and optimization of the Workday Grants Management module to meet business objectives. • Oversee grant financials, including budgeting, tracking, reporting, and compliance workflows. • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current processes, identify gaps, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. • Serve as the primary liaison for module-related support, updates, and enhancement requests. • Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and project management, to design, test, and deploy improvements. • Drive system training initiatives to ensure user adoption and proficiency. • Stay updated on Workday’s innovations and leverage them to optimize system capabilities. • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial reporting standards while supporting audits and other governance initiatives. Candidate Requirements • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Workday Grants Management or similar modules. • Proven expertise in configuring and managing Workday solutions for grant management and financial operations. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into strategic actions. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to drive collaboration and achieve outcomes. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering value through technology. • Workday Grants Management Certification are a nice to have, but not essential.
