Senior Business Analyst - Tableau Developer - Mesquite, TX

Determine user needs and business requirements, and design and implement Business Intelligence solutions using Tableau, Cognos, Microstrategy, PowerBI, and other BI tools. • ** Gather end-to-end dashboard requirements including logical data model, data sources, security needs, metadata, and preferred visualizations. • ** Document end-user data needs and data transformation logic, create logical data models, and develop physical data models. • ** Help Tableau users prepare and clean data for easy analysis using Tableau Prep tool. • ** Collaborate with end users to develop and support Tableau BI interfaces and dashboards with KPIs and drill functionality, and data visualizations such as Heat Maps, Scatterplots, Slicers, etc. • ** Create end-user test plans, and communicate and assist users with testing. • ** Determine customer training needs and develop training programs, covering Tableau functions such as calculated fields, parameter controls, hierarchy, groups, sets, dashboard actions, filters, and annotations. • ** Configure Tableau Server sites including security models, data integrity, report distribution, scheduling, and auditing functions. • ** Keep abreast of upcoming Tableau releases, explore new features, and update documentation library. • ** Assist new tool, upgrade, and application maintenance testing for Tableau Desktop, Server, and Data Prep.
