Advance Practice Practitioners (ACNP / PA)
Pittsburgh Critical Care Associates (PCCA) is a private practice intensivist group is hiring Advance Practice Practitioners (ACNP / PA) to work as intensivists at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. Hendrick Medical Center is a 340-bed Regional Medical Center and Level III Trauma Center: 24-bed mixed ICU with Medical / Surgical / Trauma patients Physician Intensivists coverage during the day 7a 7pm, swing 11am 11pm APP coverage 7-on 7-off rotation with days / nights. All shifts are double coverage with another APP and/or physician PCCA supports the refined multidisciplinary MD/APP intensivist team model of care to provide expanded critical care services. 1-2 years of acute care experience is recommended but not required. There is a 3-6 month onboarding process for training in medical treatment and procedures including: Central line, arterial catheters, intubation, chest tube placement, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, bronchoscopy Benefits including: Pension, 401k, healthcare coverage $1200/mo, continued education $3000/yr stipend Required to be license Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant in the State of Texas.
