Insurance Sr. Product Consultant - National General

The Insurance Product Management Senior Consultant will be responsible for the overall financial health of the product(s) and will contribute to achieving profit and growth targets for insurance products. This position requires analyzing and presenting complex data and facts to support recommendations on potential initiatives, while interacting with other departments within Allstate Personal Lines (APL) Product. The role involves supporting strategic business decisions by evaluating trends and monitoring key business metrics, as well as executing underwriting and product changes. The successful candidate will participate in coordinated efforts across the organization to facilitate the implementation of basic to moderate initiatives, including product, pricing, contract, and underwriting. They will develop storylines and presentations to effectively communicate the results of research, projects, and analysis. Additionally, the consultant will leverage various data sources and applications to retrieve, conduct research, manipulate data, and build reports, while developing an understanding of the P&L and key insurance metrics to identify emerging trends that inform product management teams. This role also emphasizes building business partnerships by demonstrating knowledge and understanding of customer needs and collaborating with internal and external partners. Responsibilities • Participate in coordinated efforts across the organization to facilitate the implementation of basic to moderate initiatives (including product, pricing, contract, and underwriting). , • Develop storylines and presentations to effectively communicate results of research, projects, and analysis with some guidance. , • Leverage various data sources and applications to retrieve, conduct research, manipulate data, and build reports with some guidance. , • Develop understanding of the P&L and key insurance metrics to identify emerging trends to inform product management teams. , • Contribute to a supportive team environment, enabling quality team interactions and deliverables. , • Build business partnerships by demonstrating knowledge and understanding of customer needs and other internal/external partners. , • Provide basic to moderate technical guidance; simplify difficult concepts for non-technical users. , • Participate in the evaluation of procedures and processes and suggest improvements. Requirements • 4 year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) , • 2 or more years of experience in insurance product management (Preferred) , • Ability to analyze complex data and present findings effectively. , • Strong communication skills to develop presentations and reports. , • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Nice-to-haves • Experience in the insurance industry. , • Familiarity with underwriting processes and product management.
