Actuary - Medicare

Position Purpose: This Actuary will support Medicare Rx forecasting and monthly closing process Conduct analysis and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes for Medicare Part D plans Manage health plan specific actuarial needs and produce actuarial reports to aid in developing corporate strategy. Collaborate with actuaries and non-actuaries to assist with managing product performance. Important Note: To be considered for this Actuary role, this position requires a minimum of an ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) credential, a bachelor's degree, and a min. of 5+ years of actuarial experience. In this Actuary role, you will: Gather, analyze, and support key inputs for the Part D forecast and reserves Identify risks and opportunities for forecasting and reserve purposes Serve as the main point of contact for Rx data quality Research and analyze the impact of various federal legislative/regulatory changes Analyze various data reports, identify trends and gaps and recommend action Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or in related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of actuarial experience. Required License/Certification: Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) (or equivalent international certification); Member of American Academy of Actuaries (or equivalent international membership) Preferred experience: Medicare Part D / Rx forecasting In order to move forward with your application, Candidates MUST possess a minimum of an ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) credential/designation, a bachelor's degree, and at least five years of actuarial experience to be eligible for this position. Applicants for this job have the flexibility to work remote from home anywhere in the Continental United States. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
