Junior Software Engineer

This individual will support the information technology systems and application which are currently being used by the end user company wide. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are limited to the following: • Work directly with the business to understand business needs and recommend solutions. • Gather requirements to design and develop system to automate business processes. • Analyze business processes and document workflows. • Work with team in building services and applications. • Develop and maintain services, APIs, and front-end applications. Qualifications: • Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment and work with a diverse team. • Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology, and Test-Driven Development • Strong development skills utilizing C#, C++, Java, OR any other OOP language, SQL, .NET, ASP.NET. • Experience using GIT. • Knowledge and understanding of Entity Framework, LINQ. • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. • Familiarity with Azure and Angular a plus (Must be willing to learn). Cloud OR Front-End • Ability to grasp and understand Insurance terminology. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Experience writing Unit/Integration Tests.
