Senior Benefits Analyst

Description: • Provide expert support across benefits offerings and employee population. • Maintain and enhance total rewards programs to attract and retain top talent. • Collaborate with leadership on evaluating and enhancing benefits offerings. • Serve as the in-house expert on medical insurance self-funding. • Manage day-to-day administration of 401(k) plan and ensure compliance. • Oversee company-wide leave programs ensuring consistency and compliance. • Assist payroll department with processing benefit withholdings. • Take ownership of ad hoc projects within the total rewards space. Requirements: • 6+ years of experience in benefits administration. • 3+ years experience with insurance self-funding, with a strong desire to have previously led a transition from fully insured to self-funded. • Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations. • Expertise in benefits strategy, 401(k) administration, and other benefits-related tasks. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on partnership across HR and other business units. • Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability, while also contributing to team goals. Benefits: • Administer and support company benefits programs (i.e., healthcare, wellness, voluntary benefits). • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and enhance benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness while balancing cost considerations. • Determine and administer the best path (fully insured or self-funded) for medical insurance plans. • Manage day-to-day administration of the 401(k) plan, ensuring accurate contributions, compliance with all regulatory requirements, and annual 5500 audit support. • Oversee company-wide leave programs ensuring consistent application, compliance, and employee satisfaction. • Assist our payroll department with bi-weekly payroll processing as it relates to withholdings associated with benefits. • Take ownership of various ad hoc projects within the total rewards space as needed.
