Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. The selected candidate will work to identify and acquire new business ventures for its customers. The SIGINT System Architect will work among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues enjoying a flexible work environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded. The selected SIGINT System Architect: Identifies and captures new business opportunities in the international and domestic Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) marketplace, with emphasis on High Frequency (HF), and Very High/Ultra High Frequency (V/UHF) Communications Intelligence (COMINT) Direction Finding (DF) Systems, and HF Over-the-Horizon Radars (OTHRs) Establishes and maintains frequent Intelligence Community (IC) and Defense customer contacts in the international and domestic SIGINT, COMINT/DF and EW marketplace Collaborates with customers to develop system Concept of Operations (CONOPS), architectures, and requirements for SIGINT, COMINT/DF and EW systems Develops and presents briefing packages of capabilities and system offerings to international and domestic customers Works closely with business area technical and management team to align business area strategy, capabilities, investments, and offerings with SIGINT, COMINT/DF and EW markets Performs competitor analyses and develops teaming relationships as needed Works closely with Export Compliance organization to obtain all export licenses for business pursuits in the international marketplace What you’ll experience: Technologies that aren’t just top-notch, they’re often top-secret A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what’s next Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as its discovered What you bring to the table: The candidate must demonstrate extensive experience in areas related to the following technology areas: Direction finding systems, arrays and algorithms and their performance characteristics Radio Frequency (RF) system design and HF propagation RF signal processing system design System modeling, simulation, and algorithm development Analyzing and characterizing HF communications and OTHR signals Collection and analysis of terrestrial communication signals in the HF, VHF, and UHF spectrum Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams Detailed understanding of the SIGINT, COMINT/DF and EW marketplace including major customers and industry competitors Performance evaluation of signal processing solutions Understanding of DSP software development Work effectively in a cross functional team as well as a diverse customer base Develop testing criteria and execute validation of designs Experience working in a fast-paced development environment focused on fielding complex signal processing solutions Proficient in signal processing algorithm development in MATLAB or Python Demonstrated problem-solving, verbal and written communication, presentation and organizational skills Proven technical leadership skills ability to generate and deliver creative problem solutions Strong ability to manage tasks and projects independently with urgency In addition, the candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to travel worldwide, up to 20% What sets you apart: Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with 8+ years’ experience or Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 10+ years’ experience Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the systems development life cycle Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success Exceptional communication, presentation, and influence management skills, with notable record of securing buy-in on concepts and ideas Experienced in the art of negotiation with ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Our Commitment to You: An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development Research oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation’s security Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule) Competitive benefits, including 401k matching, flex time off, paid parental leave, healthcare benefits, health & wellness programs, employee resource and social groups, and more Workplace Options: This position is fully on-site, OR Hybrid/Flex as desired While on-site, you will be a part of the San Jose, CA team Apply Job!
