The Product Engineer Role

As Product Engineer, you’ll literally transform and save lives by raising the bar in the speed and quality in which we build and deploy features across our web and mobile applications, maintaining a stable and well-monitored infrastructure, and upleveling the team through strong command of AI development workflows.

What You’ll Work On:

• Design, build, and maintain APIs that power our web and mobile applications

• Develop scalable and efficient backend systems to support new and existing product features

• Work on data integrations to streamline operations and enhance the client experience

• Optimize backend performance and reliability for a seamless user experience

• Improve developer velocity by enhancing automation and testing frameworks

• Stand up new infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support scaling and efficiency

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and AI specialists, to deliver impactful features

Example Projects:

• Session Delight: Implement AI-based art generation and content recommendation systems to enhance session experiences

• Connection through Cohorts: Utilize Circle platform features to create treatment-start-based cohort groups, increasing program completion rates

• Unleashed Session Integration: Implement AI-generated meditations and voice journaling for better session continuity and improved user outcomes

• Developer Velocity Enhancements: Improve test automation to streamline development with:

• 100% local runs of the integration test suite

• Consolidated library dependency management

• Python-based just-in-time test data generation and test execution

Given Mindbloom’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further, note that Mindbloom has minimal hierarchy and titles, but the scope of the role and compensation will be reflective of your level. The estimated annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $175,000 USD. The actual base salary may differ based on your current level of job-related skills and experience, and on market data changes. Total compensation for this role may vary depending on equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and benefits elected.
