Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Senior Project Scheduler, where your expertise will be essential in steering the successful planning, execution, and oversight of project schedules. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while collaborating closely with a dedicated project team based in Kern County, California. You will be instrumental in maintaining schedule accuracy, delivering insightful projections, and facilitating financial reporting throughout the lifecycle of significant projects. Key Responsibilities • Schedule Management: Develop, refine, and uphold project schedules in conjunction with the project team. • Review and Communication: Perform comprehensive schedule assessments to ensure compliance with best practices and furnish constructive feedback to the team. • Comprehensive Planning: Engage in all stages of the construction planning and scheduling process, from initial proposal schedules to baseline establishment and continual updates. • Collaboration: Participate in project meetings focused on scheduling, offering insights and addressing scheduling-related challenges. • Contract Insights: Grasp construction contract stipulations and their implications on scheduling operations. • Performance Measurement: Assist in performance tracking, schedule trend evaluations, and the initiation of corrective measures when necessary. • Reporting: Create detailed management reports related to scheduling and furnish resource-loaded schedules along with risk assessments. • Technical Expertise: Utilize project drawings and specifications to establish precise schedules, ensuring all planned activities align with project logic. Required Skills • Proficient in schedule management tools and methodologies. • Strong grasp of project planning and financial reporting principles. • Exceptional communication and collaboration capabilities for effective teamwork. • Analytical skills to evaluate schedules, identify trends, and devise practical solutions. Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling is preferred.
