Telehealth Veterinary Technician - Part Time

Our Opportunity: Chewy is looking for a Telehealth Veterinary Technician to join our Healthcare Team. Come join our growing organization and be a part of revolutionizing the virtual care industry! This is a Part Time position between 20-25 hrs / wk and shift lengths between 4-8hrs. The majority of these shifts will be during evenings and weekends. Team Members must be located in the following states: AZ, FL, IA, KS, OK, PA, TX, or WA. What You'll Do: ? The Telehealth Veterinary Technician will participate and champion the support and education to Chewy's pet parents on products and services that help animal health and wellbeing. ? Provide subject matter expertise on companion animal health and wellness for Chewy Health. ? Participate in program development and enhancing training procedures. ? Identify and triage platform improvements and support innovative advancements. ? Collaborate with Chewy Health Team Members on the development of current and new services and products. ? Chewy offers full training and vital materials for the vet tech to support and provide effective communication with pet parents efficiently. What You'll Need: ? Active Vet Tech License / Certification (CVT, LVT or RVT) ? A Veterinary Technology associates or bachelor's degree from a NAVTA and/or AVMA-CVTEA accredited program, or equivalent is required. ? 3 years of small animal veterinary experience or equivalent industry experience. ? Must have proficient computer skills as this will require interacting with customers and Chewy Team Members remotely through an online platform. ? Someone who accepts forward thinking and curiosity. ? Has exemplary listening and problem-solving skills. ? Ability to multitask comfortably. ? Is comfortable collaborating with other veterinary technicians, veterinarians, applying a team-oriented environment. ? Is passionate about helping people and pets with compassion and excellent customer service focus. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills. ? Comfortable in a fast paced, self-starter environment. ? The Team Member's internet speed must be at least 50 Mbps (download) and 10 Mbps (upload). ? Have a designated working space that is quiet and free from disruptions. ? Minimal travel required. Apply Job!
