Clinical Program Advisor - Hybrid -Express Scripts (Supply Chain)

About the position The Clinical Program Advisor at The Cigna Group plays a crucial role in providing insights and guidance on complex clinical rebate modeling assignments. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and strategic thinking to deliver formulary consulting support and improve service models. The advisor will work closely with functional leaders and educate team members while representing the supply chain department both internally and externally. Responsibilities • Develop and execute formulary modeling for existing clients with close attention to detail and accuracy , • Review custom Utilization Management policies for rebate eligibility or adherence to contract rebate terms , • Perform independent modeling with little to no oversight by Sr. Manager/Clinical Director , • Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline formulary consulting modeling , • Field clinical questions from other formulary consulting team members , • Create client presentations and present to senior leaders within client as required , • Support standard utilization management review as needed , • Develop and execute formulary modeling opportunities for existing clients with strategy guidance from manager and in close partnership with business partners Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharm.D. preferred, with current active U.S. Pharmacist License , • 2-4 years of pharmacy/PBM/Managed Care/healthcare related experience , • 1-2 years of formulary management/development experience preferred , • Detail Oriented, Organizational, and Analytical skills , • Ability to work independently and execute on deliverables in a timely manner and with little oversight , • Excellent PC skills - including Excel, PowerPoint and MS Access, experience with database , • Financial or analytical modeling experience , • Familiarity with pharmaceutical rebate contracts a plus , • Proven ability to work in a fast paced - ever changing environment , • Excellent relationship building and cross functional skills Nice-to-haves • Experience in pharmacy benefit management (PBM) , • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance Benefits • Medical, vision, and dental insurance , • 401(k) with company match , • Company paid life insurance , • Tuition reimbursement , • Minimum of 18 days of paid time off per year , • Paid holidays , • Annual bonus plan Apply Job!
