About the position The Advisory Services VPI role at First Citizens Bank involves managing and restructuring problem loans while advising lending teams on challenging credit situations. Responsibilities Manage and restructure a variety of problem loans. , Advise lending teams on challenging credit situations. , Oversee the modification process from proposal to credit approval and closing. , Ensure accurate credit risk ratings and minimize past dues. , Identify borrowers experiencing financial difficulties. , Interact professionally with clients, investors, and internal teams. , Provide guidance to associates and collaborate with the Managing Director. , Handle escalated issues and complex negotiations. , Supervise and manage one or more associates, setting goals and monitoring progress. Requirements Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Credit Training or Financial Modeling, valuation and credit OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Credit Training or Financial Modeling, valuation and credit. , 3 years of Commercial Loan Workout and/or Credit experience. Nice-to-haves 5 years of experience in Commercial Banking, TMT and Innovation Banking or Advisory. , Ability to negotiate and influence favorable outcomes for the bank. , Knowledge of financial principles and concepts. , Ability to interpret financial information and create effective models.
