The firm values a dynamic and collaborative team environment, with the opportunity to leave an impact on month-end close processes in accordance with firm policies and GAAP. With growing business and team oriented culture, the team is looking for a driven individual for this Senior Accountant opening. Job Description • Develop and uphold precise financial statements and reports, ensuring adherence to GAAP and organizational policies. • Supervise the month-end closing activities, ensuring the timely completion of account reconciliations and financial reviews. • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and prompt handling of invoices and payments. • Perform variance analysis, offering insights into budget performance and financial trends for senior leadership. • Work closely with external auditors during the annual audit, providing required documentation and support. • Assist in the preparation and planning of annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department heads to align financial objectives. • Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard the accuracy of financial processes and reporting. • Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing financial operations and reporting efficiency.
