Manager of Risk Management and Insurance

UNITED STATES, GEORGIA, ATLANTA FINANCE 28-JAN-2025 REF #: 27392 HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES) This position will report directly to the Director of Risk Management & Insurance within the Finance Division at Delta Air Lines. The position has one direct report. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in either risk management, insurance brokerage, insurance company operations or combination thereof with a strong casualty insurance background preferred. There is some travel (including international) with this position and a hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with internal stakeholders – Human Resources, Corporate Real Estate, Legal, Environmental, Tech Ops and Financial Reporting. • Liase with external and insurance company actuaries, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), insurance brokers and external risk control engineers to evaluate Workers Compensation and Property loss results and manage the actuarial and Risk Control process. • Responsible for multi-line insurance renewals at Delta subsidiaries with specific oversight responsibility for Monroe Energy, a wholly owned Delta subsidiary in the oil and gas industry. • Participate in claims reviews with brokers and TPAs regarding claims arising from Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP) primarily for Workers Comp and Liability lines of coverage. • Oversee Excess Liability insurance placement, • Oversee Global Property insurance placement. • Manage insurance brokers and service providers associated with the various insurance placements within the scope of this position.
