About the position Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a Lead Automation Testing professional with expertise in ServiceNow to join our dynamic team of IT professionals in a permanent role. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a strong background in Quality Assurance (QA) and are looking to leverage their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. As part of Cognizant's Quality Engineering and Assurance (QEA) practice, you will be joining the largest QA practice globally, servicing over 800 clients. In this role, you will be responsible for leading automation testing initiatives using ServiceNow's built-in Automated Test Framework (ATF). You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the quality and reliability of ServiceNow applications. Your expertise in building automated tests and utilizing open-source testing tools such as Selenium and Playwright will be crucial in achieving our quality objectives. You will document and report testing results, participate in Agile release planning, and lead user acceptance testing to ensure that all testing conclusions and recommendations are well-supported by test results. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities • Build automated tests using ServiceNow's built-in Automated Test Framework (ATF). , • Develop automated tests for ServiceNow using open-source testing tools like Selenium and Playwright. , • Document and report on ServiceNow testing, verification, and validation status, including details of errors and recommended corrective actions. , • Participate in Agile release planning for new ServiceNow features, defect fixes, and platform optimization. , • Lead early access testing and user acceptance testing with ServiceNow platform stakeholders. , • Ensure testing conclusions and recommendations are supported by test results, documenting any exceptions or deviations from requirements. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. , • Minimum of 8+ years of QA experience with agile practices. , • Experience building automated tests using ServiceNow's built-in Automated Test Framework (ATF). , • Proficiency in using open-source testing tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
