We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HCC / Risk Adjustment Coder to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence in healthcare delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Accurately review and code medical records to identify Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs) and other risk-adjusted codes in compliance with CMS guidelines. • Perform chart reviews for documentation completeness and ensure all applicable codes are captured. • Collaborate with providers to ensure proper documentation supports accurate coding. • Monitor and adhere to compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. • Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines, payer regulations, and CMS policies. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives for better accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications: • Certification as a Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or similar credential. • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HCC/risk adjustment coding. • In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding and risk adjustment methodologies. • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Salary Range: • $55,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
