Job title: A / P Generalist Company: Legacy Manufacturing Job description: The position is responsible for all Accounts Payable activities, including processing all invoices and paying all suppliers. Assist Accounting Manager with month end processes. Duties and Responsibilities: • Main - Accounts Payable • Processing Accounts Payable invoices. • Maintaining Accounts Payable inbox. • Generating weekly check run, and on-demand checks as needed. • Initiating wire transfers and ACH payments as necessary. • Monitoring international shipment records. • Maintaining inventory in-transit list • Maintaining vendor accounts. • Processing Monthly credit card statement. • Monitoring return of goods to vendors. • Inventory reconciliations • Month end and accrual reconciliations and entries • Assisting as necessary with applying customer payments to open invoices • Special projects as requested by Accounting Manager Qualifications: • Two-year administrative degree, or two years related experience required. • Ability to work independently, be a self-motivator, and work well in a team setting. • Must have a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. • Problem-solving skills • Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality when dealing with employee sensitive information.
